3RD PARTY CARRIAGE CHARGE REASON
We charge a 3rd party surcharge due to the following reasons
1) Our pricing and infrastructure is based upon a B to B supplier.
2) Increase in administration due to a different delivery address.
3) All goods sent to 3rd party are individually checked to eliminate our responsibility for damages/shortages/discrepancies which involves additional labour time.
4) Most orders to a consumer are single items and often need additional packing.
5) A much higher % rate of failed deliveries or re-deliveries when sending to a consumer.
6) We are held liable should there be any breakages or damage and would be expected to collect and replace from the customer as that was the delivery point.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Failure to Receive Delivery
If the given address is not available to take in the delivery, or the order needs to be re-directed to another address other than that of booking, charges will apply. This will be advised prior to re-shipping by our customer service team. If an order is cancelled or delivery refused once the order has left our warehouse, there will be a 20% restocking charge. For failed pallet deliveries there will be a £40 per pallet charge in addition to the handling charge.
Internet/Mail Order Sales
Whilst we ensure that goods are packed suitably for shipping by our couriers we cannot guarantee how they will travel or be handled by any subsequent deliveries. We require that all goods be inspected prior to sending out to your customers to minimise your risk and additional packaging added if required. Inspired Lighting are only liable for goods delivered to the original delivery address of the order and if necessary any replacements or collections will only be made to the same address.
