DELIVERY & CARRIAGE CHARGES

We have always been leaders in the industry with our Next Day delivery service to ensure we can get our products out to you as fast as we can. We ensure that due to the fragility of some of our products, we take extra special care in the packing of our products to ensure they arrive to you in great condition. Our order cut off time is 2pm for same day processing for UK Mainland customers.

There is no minimum order value for our trade customers.

Please note, as a trade-only business, we will deliver to 3rd party address but additional costs do apply. Please see below for further details.

All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and exclude Value Added Tax (VAT) at UK rates.

All 3rd party carriage charges are non refundable.

Currently we do not offer 3rd party deliveries to addresses outside of UK Mainland.

Any failed deliveries to a 3rd party address will incur the original delivery charge and a failed delivery cost. A 2nd charge would apply if re-delivery is required.

Certain addresses may not be suitable for a pallet delivery due to accessibility and require a smaller vehicle. Such deliveries will incur a surcharge depending on the exact address and restrictions.

Examples of 3rd Party Delivery Costs
Order is below £250 nett and being delivered to a UK Mainland address, carriage charge is £22.50 + vat (£12.50 + £10.00 surcharge)

Order is below £250 nett and being delivered to a UK Mainland address on a Saturday, carriage charge is £37.50 + vat (£12.50 + £10.00 surcharge + £15.00 Saturday surcharge)

Order is over £250 nett and being delivered to a UK Mainland address, carriage charge is £10.00 + vat (surcharge only)

3RD PARTY CARRIAGE CHARGE REASON

We charge a 3rd party surcharge due to the following reasons

1) Our pricing and infrastructure is based upon a B to B supplier.
2) Increase in administration due to a different delivery address.
3) All goods sent to 3rd party are individually checked to eliminate our responsibility for damages/shortages/discrepancies which involves additional labour time.
4) Most orders to a consumer are single items and often need additional packing.
5) A much higher % rate of failed deliveries or re-deliveries when sending to a consumer.
6) We are held liable should there be any breakages or damage and would be expected to collect and replace from the customer as that was the delivery point.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Failure to Receive Delivery

If the given address is not available to take in the delivery, or the order needs to be re-directed to another address other than that of booking, charges will apply. This will be advised prior to re-shipping by our customer service team. If an order is cancelled or delivery refused once the order has left our warehouse, there will be a 20% restocking charge. For failed pallet deliveries there will be a £40 per pallet charge in addition to the handling charge.

Internet/Mail Order Sales

Whilst we ensure that goods are packed suitably for shipping by our couriers we cannot guarantee how they will travel or be handled by any subsequent deliveries. We require that all goods be inspected prior to sending out to your customers to minimise your risk and additional packaging added if required. Inspired Lighting are only liable for goods delivered to the original delivery address of the order and if necessary any replacements or collections will only be made to the same address.
